8910 - Pablo Picasso "Notre Dame" from the Marina Picasso Collection. This rare original limited edition lithograph, which has been signed by Picasso's Granddaughter Marina Picasso. It forms part of the Marina Picasso Estate Collection and approved by the Heirs of Picasso. Gallery prices for this rare piece of art are up to $15000. PLEASE NOTE: Supplied with certificate of authentication. Professionally framed in a very expensive hand made frame, also mounted in bespoke art mount. It has been hand-printed by a traditional multi-plate method using one single plate for each colour. This work of art was produced under the strict supervision of the famous Chromist, Laurent Marcel Salinas (1913-2010) who was a Master Printer in his own right and worked very closely with Pablo Picasso throughout his life and produced some of the artists finest original prints. This Special Edition was limited to 500 copies Worldwide which was published and released between 1979 and 1982. Marina Picasso, the official heir to her grandfathers French estate, sold the collection publication rights to investors in order to pay duties due to the French government after Picassos death. Once the duties were paid the original paintings were released by the French Ministre de Economie and returned to the estate.. H: 112.0cm W: 86.0cm D: 5.0cm
