4647 - An original handwritten, signed letter (measuring 5"x 7" approx.) by Sir James Matthew Barrie, who was a Scottish novelist and playwright, best remembered as the creator of Peter Pan. He was born and educated in Scotland and then moved to London, where he wrote a number of successful novels and plays. Also included is the original envelope postmarked "Kirriemuir" & a 5"x 7" portrait photograph in black & white.
