Banksy Original Art "Wrong War" Placard
7623 - Original Banksy artwork Wrong War/Grim Reaper variant 2003 anti-war protest placard London/Basingstoke. Professionally framed and float mounted. placard size 90cm x 70cm. Probably Banksy's most iconic image. It comes with labels that marked the event. Labels feature details for the cause, date, and credit to organizers. Placards with them are almost impossible to find. In fair condition with obvious signs of wear which add to the overall "Grim" look. Banksy created a number of different signs for the 2003 London protest against the Iraq war but few originals have survived because they were either discarded in the street or confiscated by the Metropolitan Police.
