4660 - An original signature (clipped from a letter, measuring 4"x 1" approx.) by Sir Arthur Ignatius Conan Doyle, the British writer and physician. He created the character Sherlock Holmes in 1887 for A Study in Scarlet, the first of four novels and fifty-six short stories about Holmes and Dr. Watson. Also included is a black & white portrait photograph.
