9400 - An absolutely stunning rare 22ct Gold Limited Edition by Gustav Klimt titled "Tree of Life" (Stoclet Frieze). There were only 100 published Worldwide in this Gold Leaf edition. It has been very skilfully hand embellished throughout with genuine 22 carat Gold Leaf and printed to museum grade archival standard. An analysis and inspection certificate verifying the gold is 22ct will accompany the artwork. The limited edition is hand numbered and will be accompanied by a certificate of authentication signed by the "Master Printer". This piece of art has been professionally framed to an extremely high standard by a Master Framer using very intricate skilled work. It is in a bespoke, expensive Italian frame and has been float mounted. The condition of this artwork is exceptional. Some of the Klimt's Gold Leaf editions are now fetching over £6000 at auction. The branches twist, twirl, turn, spiral and undulate creating a tangle of strong branches, long vines and fragile threads illustrating life's complexity. The branches reach for the sky and the tree of life roots into the earth beneath creating the connection between Heaven and Earth which is often used in many different cultures, religions and ideologies.
